Stell dir vor du stehst in einem dunklen Raum, seltsame Dinge erscheinen auf der Wand und du weißt, dass du das alles schon einmal gesehen hast, du weißt allerdings nicht wann und wo und du bist nicht ganz sicher ob. Aber hab keine Angst. Wenn du genauer hinsiehst, wirst du erkennen, dass du nicht alleine bist, dass da diese beiden Jungs in deiner Nähe sind, die dich vor dem Draußen beschützen, während sie ihr Innerstes in dein Blickfeld projizieren.

Lichterloh sind zwei Videokünstler aus Westösterreich, gemeinsam aufgewachsen in den Klauen eines Internats; nachdem sie das überlebt hatten zogen sie nach Wien, bereit etwas zu werden, was du Nerd nennst. Sie gebrauchen ihren ländlichen- so wie ihren neuen urbanen Background, um unter Verwendung verschiedener analoger und digitaler Techniken intelligente on- beat Videos, Animationen und Installationen herzustellen, als Demonstration, dass du nicht nur deine Ohren, sondern auch dein Gehirn und deine Augen benutzen kannst, wenn du hinausgehst, um zu vergessen, was du den ganzen Tag gemacht hast.

Lichterloh´s Projektionen sind wie die Rettung aus dem Himmel durch die Hölle, bestimmt der bessere und interessantere Blickwinkel. Wie auch immer sie es machen, sie in der Lage deine Albträume einzufärben.

Try to find yourself standing in a dark room, with weird things appearing at the wall and you know, you have seen this before, but you don't know when and where; and you are not quite sure if. But don't be scared. If you take a closer look you will recognize that you are not alone, that there are these two guys standing near, protecting you from the world outside while projecting their inside to your viewside.

lichterloh are two video robots from western austria, grown up together in the claws of a residential school; after surviving this, they moved to Vienna, ready to become what you call a nerd. They use their rural as well as their new urban background to create intelligent, on beat videos, animations and installations using various analog and digital techniques- showing off that you may not use your ears only but also your brains and eyes when you go out to forget what you've done the whole day.
lichterloh's projections are like getting saved from heaven by hell, definitely the better and more interesting point of view. However, even though nobody knows how they're doing it, they are able to slightly colour your nightmares.
