...und konzentriert sich in seiner Arbeit auf die Konstruktion und die anschließende Auflösung seiner subtil generierten Bilderwelten. Er verwebt abstrakte Bilder mit realen analogen Bildern zu emotional treffenden Bildsequenzen. Dafür verwendet er Standfotografien, Computeranimationen, Video und Super 8 Schleifen. Alle diese Bildelemente werden von ihm lyrisch und konsequent komponiert. Seine Loops wirken wild, rhythmisch, archaisch und bleiben dabei dennoch leicht und fragil. Es fällt schwer, sich dem narrativen Rausch seiner Bilderwelten zu entziehen!

Auf Samples wird grundsätzlich verzichtet, da das Produzieren von Loops einen nicht unbeachtlichen Teil der kreativen Arbeit ausmacht und C27 sich dadurch einen eigenen wieder erkennbaren Stil kreiert. Er versteht Visuals nicht als reine "Musikuntermalung". Musik ist vielmehr der Initialzünder und Motor für die Live Visuals, die wiederum den Gesamteindruck für den Betrachter stetig verändert und steigert.

In his work Semlitsch focuses on the construction and subsequent dissolution of his subtly generated imagery. He interweaves abstract images and real analogue images to emotionally penetrative sequences of images. In his work he uses still photography, computer animation, video and super 8 loops. All those images are being composed in a lyrical and consequent manner. His loops seem wild, rhythmical, archaic but at the same time remain delicate and fragile. It is hard to escape the narrative ecstasy of his image worlds!

There is principally no use of samples because the production of the loops is a great deal of the creative work – and it shapes the specific, distinctive style of C27. To C27, visuals are not merely background to the music: Music is the initial fuse and motor for the live visuals; the visuals in turn create a continuously changing overall-impression and thus provide for constant intensification of the experience.
