Das DJ/VJ-Duo Okinawa 69 ist seit Mitte der neunziger Jahre ein Begriff, wenn es um Bilder aus Licht und wendige DJ-Sets geht. Im Jahre 2000 betrat Bruno Tait die Bühne der Nacht und gemeinsam gründete man das Kollektiv brOK, um sich der Aufgabe zu widmen, Musik fortan nicht mehr nur zu hören, sondern auch zu sehen. Realbilder und computergenerierte Vektorwelten werden im Clubkontext vermischt. Monochrome Bildelemente wechseln zu glühenden Lichtformen. Abstrakte gebrochene Ansichten stehen im Kontrast zu komplexen, klaren 3D-Welten. 

Mit Licht und dem Alltag entnommenen Fragmenten malen sie eine neue Welt, die nur im Augenblick existiert, in der man jedoch gerne verweilt. Bilderwelten im Takt zum spürbaren Beat oder Bilderwelten zum gesprochenen Wort. Für jeden Moment die passende visuelle Umsetzung. Plötzlich kann man in der Musik spazieren gehen.
